In 2015, Michelle van Coeverden opened the doors of Mahara at Clercqstraat 123 in Amsterdam. She is an adventurist, a seeker for truth and a magician, who is willing to open doors and places to all that are seeking for the same:
“Mahara came to me in a vision in 2012, while I was inner travelling with the Blue Lotus. This majestic flower took me on a journey and soon after, I traveled the outer world with a backpack and my scissors.´´

After I came back from my pilgrimage, I knew that it was time to build a temple and a homecoming for me and my fellow travelers.” Mahara gave birth to a physical location. And the journey continued.
